About me

My name is Karina Cho, and I'm a self-taught artist who loves to draw and create all kinds of handmade treasures. This is how I express myself and connect with others. My dream was born when I was 15: to have a cozy little shop filled with handmade items.

In my imagination, it was a place where 50s music played, and every guest (I prefer not to call them "customers") would be offered free lemonade in the summer and hot chocolate in the winter. I dreamed of creating a space where people would feel at home and look forward to returning.

Although it took me 17 years, I finally took the first step toward this dream that never faded.

And here I am! After five years as a software engineer, I made the brave decision to leave my secure job and not look back, using my savings to turn my dream into reality.

On September 18, 2024, I founded Whitemoon Art Studio.

My goal is to bring joy, magic, and smiles into people’s everyday lives through my creations. I pour all my attention and love into each piece I make, striving always to give my very best.

My mission is to inspire people to follow their dreams and not give up, no matter what logic or the world around them may say—just as I did. I believe in the power of dreams, and I know the day is near when I’ll open the physical shop I've always imagined.
